My name is Guðrún Gísladóttir – I graduated from The Commercial College of Iceland, followed by Scandinavian Studies, Linguistics, Literature and Political Science at the University in Lund, Sweden and later at the Faroese University in Tórshavn. Copenhagen, Denmark is home now.

Photographer – First, an old Box Camera, then Kodak Instamatic. Konica was my first SLR, after which I befriended Nikon.

Translator – Icelandic is my mother tongue. I am fluent in English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Faroese, and I have basic skills in German.

Wool Worker – Knitted my first stitches when I was eight – still at it.
